One-Way Satellite Internet - How it Works
Planetsky One-Way Satellite Internet connection is a service aimed for those who are unable to get broadband internet connectivity on their location or to those that local broadband supply is not adequate or very expensive. The concept behind it is that you use your existing slow terrestrial internet connection like dial-up, ISDN, GPRS or even ADSL to send all your upload traffic (webpage request, file download request) to the Planetsky hub. Then Planetsky through its ultra high speed speed backbone connection to the internet will fetch what you have requested (e.g. webpage or file) and transmit it straight to your desktop via satellite with speeds that can reach 20Mbps and all that within the blink of an eye!

What do I need to use it?
- PCI DVB Receiver card
- Local terrestrial internet connection (Dial-Up, ISDN, GPRS/3G/EDGE, ADSL)
- A 0.9m satellite dish with universal Ku-Band LNB pointing to one of Planetsky Satellites
- PCI DVB Receiver card
